Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, the upscale, contemporary-designed, centrally located hotel brand has been named as the official hotel partner of the Museum of London’s Sherlock Holmes exhibition which begins 17 October 2014. The first temporary exhibition of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes in London for over 60 years will be held at the museum in the Linbury Gallery, EC2Y.
“The man who never lived and will never die” exhibition showcases a collection of authentic objects, paintings, photographs, manuscripts and early documentary film footage of London. Created 125 years ago, visitors can discover how Doyle regenerated this well-loved character to where he is today; for audiences all over the world. Highlights include costumes from BBC’s TV series Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch, a rare portrait of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the original manuscript of The Adventure of the Empty House.
